Kung Fu

Kung fu, and then weapons after. Only three of us were at the advanced class tonight, and we were all Greens, so Sifu decided that we were going to review the wooden dummy. We need to know the first 39 moves for our brown stripes. I know the first 20, but after this class I think I have all the way to 39 straight.

I love the wooden dummy. It rocks.

My lovely wife cooked up a curried mix of ground beef, potatoes and apples which was yummy, and we watched Stargate, since we'd watched the West Wing the last few times. They announced recently that Stargate is being cancelled, after 10 seasons and well over 200 episodes. That's a hell of a run.

Lots of interesting stuff is starting to circulate about Time Spiral, the next Magic block. Some of it is very interesting indeed. Ravnica was an awesome block, but Time Spiral seems to have the advantage of nostalgia. As an old school magic player, I'm a sucker for the older stuff. Plus they seem to be doing some pretty bizarre and innovative stuff with the block, if the rumours and wild speculation is even vaguely accurate.

Still waiting for those cards. I still blame Sarrazin, despite his protestations of innocence.

I am eagerly anticipating magic night on Thursday.

Mood: Sleepy.
