Watched the first two episodes of The West Wing s3 last night. The first one was a post-9/11 episode which doesn't fit into the series chronology and basically involves a meditation upon terrorism and what it means to the US. Kinda preachy, but interesting to see where they were right afterwards, and how different that is from where they are now. The second episode was the first real episode, continuing from s2, and it rocked.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my magic decks. I tweaked my Dimir deck and did some heavy work to Izzet, and finally determined that I had the pieces to build a decent Orzhov deck. Next up I'm putting together some decks from my older cards (probably two decks) for general use. If /dev/null does get back into things, as we are all hoping he will, then I want to have some decks to play against him which aren't as built around the newest sets. I'm thinking possibly black/green and white/blue, but I might do mono-blue instead. I also took a quick look through my older green cards for Elves, as Sarrazin is looking to build a killer Elf deck; I have a couple of things he just might be interested in. Yes, indeed.

Tonight we're going to the Greek's place for barbeque. There will be barbequed ribs, and beer, and good times. And presents. Oh yeah.
