Stopped by Best Buy yesterday to buy season 3 of the West Wing. It was sufficiently cheaper than anticipated that we got season 4 while we were at it. Unfortunately the first disk of s3 is kaput, so we're taking it back. I was hoping to play with a real live MacBook while we were there but they were out of stock. I still want to see what the keyboard feels like.

They have some pretty LCD monitors for not too much, too. My 19-inch CRT which weighs a thousand pounds is going to die on me, hopefully not soon. It'll need to be replaced and I'm going for the biggest, shiniest LCD I can afford.

I installed Warlords for Civ4, but haven't had a chance to play with it much. Looks pretty.

I've been informed that my sister-in-law Red has been informed of the existence of this blog. Hi Red! I believe that brings my readership to seven or so. Don't worry, I won't let celebrity go to my head. Both feet on the ground.

It's back up to a million degrees outside. According to the frauds at Environment Canada, it's supposed to reach one million and four degrees by this afternoon. Wierd lightning last night, a continual series of flashes. At times it was almost like a strobe light. The end times are at hand! Repent your sins!
