Status

Not feeling well. Missed work this morning but made it in this afternoon, despite a pretty bad sinus headache. I'm ok as long as I'm not moving.

Coffee

My lovely wife gave me a ride in to work today as I wasn't feeling well. We stopped by at Second Cup to get some coffee, because they were supposed to be a part of this kiss-fm points program that she avidly pursues. Turns out this particular location wasn't taking part, but they were donating a portion of their profits from the day towards breast cancer research. So coffee it is.

Magic Night

Magic night tonight. Serdic made ribs. Mmmm, ribs.

Null has been throwing some smack talk around. Boy, there's gonna be a reckonin'.

Finished Stargate S1. Wow, very cool. Can't wait for season 2.

Well into season 4 of the West Wing. The election run against Ritchie has concluded. They really aren't making any bones about Ritchie being a transparent stand-in for Bush, are they?

Cinnamon Bread

My lovely wife concluded the 10-day process of making Amish Cinnamon Bread. I have a video of the mixer trying to mix the batter, which was, shall we say, on the thick side. The video concludes with the mixer dying loudly. While baking they expanded in size monstrously, swelling out of their tins like menacing blob-monsters from a cheesy low-budget horror movie. The entire house smelled like cinnamon. Mmm, cinnamon.

I haven't tried the resulting product but I have been reliably informed that it is amazingly delicious. The Dutch Nasty has requested the recipe.
