Took my lovely wife shopping, quite successfully. Also got fitted for my tux for the Greek's wedding and picked up a few incidentals.
We stopped by the game store. I had sorted all of the new cards I'd received from the Sentry Box and entered them into the spreadsheet, but I was seriously short of card sheets for my binders. As I think I've mentioned, the old store sold them for 25 cents apiece, so a box of 100 was $25. The new place has only got Ultra Pro sheets, and the guy working there told me they went for 30 cents each. They didn't have any boxes, as they'd just been bought out by somebody, but the display box was mostly full. (Turns out there were 83 sheets in it.)
He started to ring it through and then told me that he'd just charge me for a full box of them, because it was cheaper. I was a little confused. Turns out that, although the sheets are 30 cents apiece if bought individually, if you buy an entire box of 100 it's only $20. So these sheets, which are a better make than the old ones I have, are actually cheaper if you buy them by the box, which I always do.
Nice.
Kung Pao chicken and Stargate last night. We watched two episodes, the first of which was pretty good and the second of which rocked. So far the only problem with this series is that the writing quality is highly variable; when they're good, they're good, but they're not always so good. Hopefully it'll even out as the series progresses.
