1. If you could have any job, without consideration of requirements, experience, or cash flow, what would you be doing?Jedi Knight. If I couldn't swing that, probably writing science fiction and/or fantasy novels.
2. Who is your favourite character on Buffy: The Vampire Slayer? You're allowed to split this up into pre-season 6 and post-season 6 if desired.
Willow.
3. If you could have lunch with anyone, alive or dead, who would you have lunch with?
Joss Whedon.
4. What movie which never got made would you most like to see?
Perdido Street Station, as adapted by the author and directed by Ridley Scott.
5. What was the last book (fiction only, no reference books) that you read?I'm not sure, since I usually have a few different books on the go at once. Probably The Princess Bride by William Goldman. The fiction book which I am currently reading is Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman.
6. If you could change any one historical incident, only to return to a present changed forever into a horrible mockery of the world you knew, Twilight Zone style, what historical incident would you change?
I would have the Czarina Elizabeth of Russia live until 1764.
7. If you could have a summer home anywhere, where would you want it to be?It would be a cave home in the town of Oia on the island of Santorini. There wouldn't be cable, internet or phones, so the only way to get ahold of me would be to fly to Athens, take a charter plane to Santorini, take a cab to Oia, walk down a shitload of stone steps, and knock on the door.
8. You know that episode of Friends where we find out Ross has a card with five names on it? Right. What five names would go on your card?
In no particular order.
Christina Hendricks -- I have no good picture of her, so just watch the Firefly episode Our Mrs. Reynolds;

Lauren Graham, of Gilmore Girls;

Grace Park, who plays Boomer on BSG;

Emily Procter, who played Ainsley Hayes on The West Wing;

and Alyson Hannigan.
9. God created the heavens and the earth in six days; on the seventh day He rested. If God hadn't rested on the seventh day what would He have created?
Day seven would have been much like most of day 1 and all of days 2-6: lots of extremely energized matter expanding rapidly in all directions. I don't believe that anything would have actually been created during this period, as most of the exciting stuff happened in the first three minutes, but I'm not a physics expert.
10. If you were able to take vacation anywhere in the world (money, time, etc all not withstanding) where would you go and why?I would go all over Canada. I'd visit family in Manitoba, Alberta and BC, then go out east, then up to the Arctic. I'd dip my toes in all three oceans, camp out in the Rockies and see polar bears in Churchill.
Except Saskatchewan, I really don't need to see Saskatchewan again.
Okay!
