Two things I forgot to mention in my last post.
The first is that my lovely wife wore a pair of cat ears to the party on Saturday. It looked adorable.
The second is that we have new sheets on the bed. My lovely wife found nice fleece sheets and, much like the ones that we took camping, they are so awesome that language itself fails to encompass their awesomeness. Yes, they're that good.
They're white with little pine trees on them. My lovely wife insists that she put them on the right way around, with the points of the trees pointing towards the foot of the bed. Her reasoning is that, when you're lying in bed, they look right-side-up. I would have thought that they should point towards the head of the bed, so they look right-side-up when you walk into the room. The jury is still out on that one.

She's wrong. It's for asthetic purposes, so it should be facing the way your guests would see them (trunk to the foot of the bed).
...then again, that depends on your "guests" perspective.

It's Feng Shui, the head of the tree should be aligned with the head of the bed, and with the head of the people sleeping on the trees (not counting if you're laying sideways or upside down....for some reason).

Trees should be pointing right ride up when you are looking at them from the foot of the bed.
