Work Week

It's funny how a short week can often seem even longer than a normal sized week. I'm not sure why that is, but it is.

We hit the Glen for lunch today; Serdic, Little Joey, Optimist Prime, our lovely and wonderful admin D, and my lovely wife and myself. I love the Glen. 80 Shilling and a steak and kidney pie with a side of mushy peas. Mmmmm!

Piggy

As I type this there is a blue ceramic piggy bank (wearing pink heart-shaped sunglasses) perched atop my monitor.

Magic

I've added a B/U artifact deck to the lineup. I'm looking forward to giving it a try, although I have a pretty good idea of how it'll do.

My box of Time Spiral has not arrived. I was hoping to have it for the weekend. It would appear that my ambitions in that regard will be frustrated. Oh well.

Magic Night is Wednesday next week so the Dutch Nasty can attend. Serdic confidently predicts that the Nasty will thus not be able to attend. I guess we'll see.

I am really looking forward to the booster draft. Seriously, you have no idea.

Costco

We stopped by Costco after work to pick up a pair of pants for me; I got two pairs previously and really like them, so we figured we'd get the third colour and round out the set. While there I also got two decent pairs of jeans and a nice sweater. I'm a sexy bitch.

We also picked up three folding chairs with fabric-covered cushioned seats, for Turkey Day. They're damn nice.

Turkey Day

Since Turkey Day would have been redundant last weekend, we rescheduled to tomorrow. Wolfgang, his roommate Mattrix and another friend of his for whom I have yet to pick a pseudonym (never having met her) are coming, as are Divebunny and her Wee Bairn, the Rocket and TeamHooking, Dougly and the CBC, and Izzy and Wing. That makes for a full house. We're well stocked with wine and beer, and food will be plentiful. Good times to be had!
