You Made A Bear!

Saturday Excursion

Saturday my lovely wife and I met up with Serdic, RJA and the Dutch Nasty so we could get in some practice for the CN Tower climb. Well, my lovely wife wasn't running, just the rest of us; she's quite a bit smarter than we are.

All I can say about my efforts to run up the stairs of Serdic's apartment building repeatedly is that my lungs aren't fully recovered yet. Seriously.

Afterwards we all (minus the Nasty) headed over to the Greek Souvlaki House for breakfast. If you find yourself there for breakfast, I can heartily recommend the Spartan omelette, containing green peppers, greek sausage, and feta cheese. Mmm!

Book Shopping

After the run and breakfast my lovely wife and I stopped by Carlingwood Mall, as we had an unspent gift certificate. I spent it handily in a Coles bookstore; they had a buy-one-get-two-free sale on their clearance stuff (picked up a book about Theseus and the Amazons by Steven Pressfield). I also got Bernard Cornwell's new book, another fantasy novel, a collection of Vampire short stories, and two books for my lovely wife.

Almost a hundred and twenty dollars worth of books, for a quarter of that out of pocket. Nice!

I've already almost finished Cornwell's book, Lords of the North. It's pretty awesome.

Ebay

God damn you, eBay!! (shakes fist at the heavens)

No Game Night Tonight

Everybody's sick, where everybody is Prime and Null, and not, unusually, me.
