How is it that a machine can boot -- albeit very slowly -- and yet Windows installer fails to format that machine's drive, claiming it is damaged and not writeable?

Back to Kung Fu last night, after a few weeks of illness. My lungs aren't 100% but they're better than I thought they'd be. Class was fun. I really miss going when I can't make it, which makes it all the more frustrating to be sick. I've experienced quite a bit of frustration lately, on that count.
Incidentally, one of our new hires at work is a familiar face from kung fu. Excellent!
Deck Reconstruction Surgery
I've decided to leave my Guruhi deck alone. I did some work on the !Ventrue deck which took the table last game night; I took out some Fortitude cards I didn't need and dropped in a few more vote cards. Most of the work was on the crypt, though; out with Christine Boscassi, the 7-cap !Tremere, and Strathcona; in with 2x Radu Bistri (an 8-cap Cardinal with both disciplines I need at Superior) and 1 more Neighbour John. Should be a pretty tight crypt.
I also took apart my City Gangrel and built a !Malk stealth-bleed deck, but I'll probably take that apart and rebuild something else pretty soon, as I'm pretty sure I couldn't bring myself to actually play a game with it.
Ebay Hiatus
A box and 4 packs of Dark Sovereigns, a box of Jyhad and a bunch of Conan cards later, I've decided to abstain from Ebay for a while. Not forever, but certainly for March. Predictably, a few nice Vampire lots showed up as soon as I'd announced this, but c'est la vie, y'know?
Eye Candy
It was observed today that I don't have as much Eye Candy on here as I have in times past. Ever responsive to the demands of my readership, I hereby give you eye candy.
(To keep people from getting in trouble, I'll leave the exact identities of said readers safely anonymous.)

(I would have gone with pictures of tanks or something but I've been told that some people find them scary, so we'll forebear, just this once.)

We probably could; the only obstacle would be that I don't accumulate pictures of hot men at quite the same rate that I do hot women.
Of course, if I get a few requests for it, my google foo is strong.
