Speaking Of

I had built an old-school Ventrue vote deck, but I'm missing a few things to make it really viable, so it's been shelved for the time being. In its place I've put together a !Ventrue deck; lots of Govern and Dominate-based bleeding; lots of voting, with dirty tricks; and lots of Auspex bleed bounce. Should be fun.

I'm coming for you, Null, and DOOM is coming with me. DOOOOOOOM!

I've also finally cracked under the pressure and started putting my Vamp cards into a spreadsheet, like my Magic cards. I'm mostly doing this to find out how many I have.

My lovely wife has pointed out that this would have been much easier if I'd done it right from the beginning, like she said at the time. She is, of course, quite right.

A Desperately Needed Weekend

I kinda thought today would be Friday. It felt like a Friday, you understand. This has been a brutally long week, for others even more than for me (hi Prime; hi Null).

I had a bit of a nap after work today, which is something because I never nap, as a rule. I was just dead tired. Still am, actually. But I'm going to bed in a bit, so that's okay.

International Women's Day

I had no idea. But, not wanting to be caught unprepared, I've decided to observe the occasion by reducing my personal oppression of women by 25%. Just for today only, though; it's oppression as normal starting tomorrow.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be incredibly funny if it occured on the 14th?

Television

Rogers has a package now which actually includes all of the stations that my lovely wife and I would want to watch, for a fairly reasonable rate. We're actually considering ending our going-on-three-year abstainment from broadcast television.
