Sunday

The weather seems to be playing a bit nicer with us today (knock on wood), so I think we'll go find ourselves a patio.

It's been pointed out that I've been favouring big shiny flying things lately, so I think I'll make an effort to diversificate things up a notch. This is a Typhoon ballistic missile sub (941 Akula Heavy Strategic Submarine to the Soviets), as featured (sort of) in The Hunt For Red October. Good movie.

I have a picture of HMCS Bonaventure, Canada's last aircraft carrier, which I'll put up later this week. (Yes, we had one.)

We're getting close to the end of Babylon 5 season 5. Once the Telepaths exit stage left, things pick up a little; less Byron, less Lochley too actually, and more of the big picture wars and revolutions stuff that B5 is good at. Stargate season 1 is on the rotation to follow B5. I've only seen a few episodes of Stargate here and there, but I enjoyed them and I've heard good things about it. Looking forward to that.

Did I mention how much I like how my sticks look with the transparent tape on them? Oh, I did? Sorry.
