That and protecting the space-time continuum.

The Weekend, Continued

Saturday we went to Kung Fu. My lovely wife came as well, for her first class back since she got sick. She couldn't do everything but she did most of it and had fun.

Afterwards was grappling, which is always a good time.

Saturday evening, after a dose of shopping, we went over to Serdic's for dinner and got to meet the Singer. We had a lot of fun. Serdic poured beer all over his foot (and he wasn't even drunk or anything), there was extremely yummy pork roast and potatoes, there was lots of very good beer, and there were good times.

We approve of the Singer. She's a keeper.

I think she should also write a book. I'm thinking it could be called, How to Get a Cushy Government Job Created For You, With No Competition Or Anything, Right Out of College, Without Even Being Bilingual. It'll sell a million copies. I'll buy one. Even with a clunker of a title like that.

Sunday we did not do much at all.

New Hardware Discovered

I went to Staples with my lovely wife today to pick up some binders, since I needed some and I have today off. While there, we noticed that they were selling a very sexy 22" LCD monitor for an extremely reasonable price.

Ca-Ching!

Politics Avoided

I was going to post a little political rant on here, but I decided not to.

Jack Layton is a fucking moron. That's all.

Magic Card Shuffle

I'm in the process of reorganizing all my magic cards. That's part of the reason I needed more binders.

I have a lot of magic cards.

And that's just one of the many reasons why she's smarter than me.

A ha. My evil plan is proceeding as expected. Soon all his friends will like me better than they do him and then I can keep them in the divorce settlement. Woo hoo!

It was a treat to meet you guys as well, and I look forward to many more evenings of pouring beer on the floor.

That's it! I'm taking the coffee maker and blow dryer back!

Was that your 19"?

Right now Susan is going to be using it. The good news is that we're probably going to buy her a new PC so you can have mom's old one.

I do have a few spare monitors if you need one. Just let me know.
