Can it be? Is it possible? Is winter, finally, gone?
Jesus Baby Christ, I hope so.
One of the adjustments that you make when you abandon a life of public transportation commuting is a loss of your keen metrological awareness. If you get rained on, or you aren't dressed for the cold, you are much more likely to suffer for an extended period of time if you're bus-bound. Now, I just don't have to care as much.
In point of fact, I probably didn't need to even take a spring jacket today. It's plenty warm in my car. And, damn it, it's plenty warm outside of it, too.
I am ready for some summer. Ye gods, bring it on.
Unfortunately, both of our vehicles have decided to require service simultaneously. The new one because of an outstanding if minor issue for which the replacement part has become available; the old one because of an enigmatic engine warning light which may, or may not, presage something dire.
Regardless, their coincidental bonhomie is not something I am enjoying greatly.
Okay then. I got stuff to do. Go do something productive with your time.
