Status Update

I got a haircut on Friday.

Camping

We went camping all last weekend. Friday evening we had a nice fire with Dougly and the CBC. Saturday we were joined by Wayne and Izzy and mostly just hung out and shot the shit, until the sun went down and we got to get another fire going.

This was the first time we've gotten Wayne and Izzy out camping, and it was a blast.

That night it started to rain. Unfortunately we had to break down the tent Sunday morning in the wet, but it's been drying in the garage ever since.

A Brief Summary of the Week

I was in an offsite meeting all day today, sharing the wealth of my wisdom and experience. I am, you understand, nothing if not wise and experienced.

Going to see Transformers with the Dutch Nasty tomorrow. Game night the night after that, which Null has volunteered to host. Friday is Kung Fu. Not sure about the weekend.

Other Notes

My brother seems to be enjoying the West Wing. You wouldn't know it from reading his blog, but he is actually still alive.

I'm onto season 5 of Star Trek.

I got whacked in the hand at kung fu tonight, during weapons. I had some ice on it. It's not looking pleasant at the moment, but my lovely wife and I got slushies at Dairy Queen after class, so that's ok.

I got Watermelon. She got Lemon Lime.

There's a fudge place on the way back from the campsite. We got four kinds of hand made fudge; toffee nut, rum and butter, coconut cream, and cappuccino. Awesome.

My lovely wife is making kung pao chicken tonight. Likewise, awesome.
