Well, no, he didn't. So far we haven't seen our feline visitor again. I hope that someone took him to the humane society, or that he found his way back to his owners.
Not As Young As I Used To Be
Saturday we helped the Rocket and Teamhooking move into their new home, along with the Greek, LongLocks and MyCheeksHurt, and a few people I hadn't met yet.
Their new home is absolutely gorgeous.
The Rocket has an absolutely insane number of desks. I think I counted nine. The move went pretty smoothly, though, and then there was beer. Mmm, beer.
I overdid it a little; I was hurting the next day. I've gotten better, but I'm still sore. I guess I'm not as young as I used to be.
My lovely wife and I were going to meet up with the Greek and Ladybug for some Fete Nationale fun but I had some respiratory issues that night. I thought it might just be an allergic reaction to dust but my lovely wife pointed out that all the furniture I helped move had cat cooties on them. I suspect that she's right and it was a cat-reaction.
I was feeling better by the next morning, so it was definitely some kind of allergy thing.
I'm Completely Stuffed, But I'm Eating This Rib Anyway
We took Wolfgang downtown for Chicken and Ribs Fest on Sunday. It was his first time.
The Chicken and Ribs Fest is just something you need to experience, I think.
Afterwards Wolfgang came back to the ranch and we played a game of my ww2 rules. My Soviets managed to beat Wolfgang's Germans. The rules generally worked fine, although there were a few tweaks that we came up with.

Clearly he must have liked it, since he borrowed seasons 1 and 2. The only problem now is that he has ER and the West Wing to watch at the same time. Hope you had your schedule cleared, man.
Game Night
We had game night yesterday; Prime, Serdic and I were joined by our newbies from work, JP and Maverick. Maverick picked up the rules pretty quickly. I actually managed to win a game with my blue deck.
Serdic got some leftover Meat Weekend Pork from RJA and cooked it up with potatoes, onions, garlic and green peppers. It was entirely more awesome than you would expect from a last minute throw-together. Mmmmm!
Tonight
We've called off kung fu on account of my lovely wife being snowed under with work and me being sore still. I've taken Thursday and Friday off (five day weekend!). This week has been brutally long and it's only Tuesday. I'm really looking forward to some time off.
