Go Sens Go
Went over to Dougly and the CBC's place to watch Game 2. Oh baby. It was a lot of fun, watching Buffalo's heart get ripped clean out of their chests and thrown on the ground.
Punks.
Also, we might be having luck converting Wolfgang to the appreciation of hockey, and in particular, the all-around wonderful Ottawa Senators. This is encouraging.
Cards
Making great headway on the cards for my WW2 rules. Also managed to solve a few minor but annoying problems along the way. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a good way to present the information on those unit cards; this is actually fairly low-effort by comparison, and the results look damn pretty.
Shopping
One of the various sports stores in town, whose names I keep confusing and ultimately are unimportant, are having sales on Sens gear. We stocked up.
I got my lovely wife the new red Sens jersey I promised her for xmas. I also picked up a second Sens jersey for myself (white, 40% off), a really nice sens sweater for running in (half price), a long-sleeved shirt for my lovely wife, and two T-shirts (deeply discounted).
Biking
As I believe I mentioned, my lovely wife got me a new bike for xmas. We got the seat-post shortened yesterday so tonight we went for a bike ride.
I like my bike. It rocks.
It's hard to find a bike bell in this town, although a giant horn which makes a gaWOOcha noise is easy to come by. I found the horn easier to resist before I heard its sound. Hmm.
Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day, Mom.
Funny
Funny.
