In Other News

I watched the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on my iPod on the bus ride home. It's like I'm in the future. Afterwards, for the pediary locomotion component of my commute, I listened to part 16 of the Origins of Life.

As part of a discussion of geological surfaces upon which the first chemical components of life could have self-assembled into the first working living cells, four billion years ago, they discussed the chemical nature of clay. Turns out clay is a lot more interesting than you'd expect, from a chemical point of view.

I'm probably going to have to start that episode over again tomorrow, though, because mostly I was thinking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Okay, I have to go now. My new favourite show, Wormhole X-Treme, is on. It's way better than that piece of shit show you like, the one with the dog, and that guy.
