Vermont

Off to Vermont for the weekend, visiting the Essex resort. To sum up: Friendly and helpful staff staff, cooking courses which my lovely wife highly recommends, an excellent restaurant and a quite serviceable pub, a bit pricy if you don't get it for half price like we did. Very fun and relaxing weekend. Recommended.

But then we got back and there was a shitload of snow all over the place. Shoveling out the driveway wasn't fun. I thought Ottawa was just supposed to get some rain? What the hell, people?

Beer

Got some beer while I was there. Oh, Sam Adams blackberry witbier, how I love thee.

Fiction

Re-reading the Game of Thrones. It's awesome. And I can't wait for this. Re-watching the trailer, every line in it is straight from the book.

Suit Up

We also did some shopping while we were in Vermont. There were outlet malls right beside the resort, you understand. Among other things, I got myself some nice new cufflinks. Obviously, I will therefore require a suit to wear them with. RJA, I will require your sartorial expertise.
