Important Notes

1. Star Trek!

I am watching Star Trek: The Next Generation from season 1. It's been a while.

2. Computers!

I got a new computer. It's so much sexier than my old one. Sooooooper fast.

Civilization V Day is coming up, you know. Gotta be prepared.

3. Weekend!

No actual sailing was carried out, but a good time was had regardless. Among other things I got to try Dominoes (Mexican Train Dominoes to be specific) and had a lot of fun.

4. Vampire!

It's been a while since there should have been an expansion for Vampire out, and WW, the publisher, has been quiet on that subject for a while. Now, today, they've come out with an announcement that they aren't going to be making it anymore. For the second time, then, V:TES is dead. Dead as a dornail. Dead as a can of spam.

I am not happy about this.

5. Coffee!

I bought a bunch of k-cup sets for our new coffee maker. As it's my first order, half of them were free. I'm fairly well stocked with excellent coffee right now. It's all very exciting.

6. Games!

Cosmic Encounter is awesome and is a big hit with everyone. Null also brought a game called Citadels which I need to acquire. It's awesome. Board games generally are being played with great frequency and enjoyment and Null may well return to our Game Night festivities on those nights on which board games are played.

Last time out we played Paranoia, courtesy of SigsMan. The adventure was a bit railroady but it was a lot of fun and everybody brought the funny. This has resulted in discussions about RPGs and I am, once again, planning a Shadowrun game. There has been great interest and I am going ahead with the retrieval of my books from semi-storage.

Good times are ahead, man. Good times.
