I've been sick. Stuff's been going on. Blogging has been slow.
I got this from my lovely wife via email. Seems like a nice excuse for a blog post.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper. Gift bags are so much easier, which is nice, but you gotta love a well wrapped present.
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Fake. So much less work.
3. When do you put up the tree?
December.
4. When do you take the tree down?
New year's.
5. Do you like eggnog?
In small quantities, with rum. In larger quantities it makes me feel ill.
6. Favourite gift received as a child?
As a child, my AT-AT. As an adult ... that's a tough one, but I gotta go with my e-book reader.
7. Hardest person to buy for?
Objectively, probably my family members, who either don't want stuff or buy the stuff they want. Subjectively, my lovely wife, as she's the only one I can't get her to help me shop for (although she does give me very helpful wish lists).
8. Easiest person to buy for?
The Greek.
9. Do you have a nativity scene?
We have a Beartivity scene. Baby Jesus, Joseph and Mary, and the angels are all bears. Awesome.
10. Mail or email xmas cards?
I'm not one for xmas cards.
11. Worst xmas gift you ever received?
Can't think of one.
12. Favourite xmas movie?
White Christmas. Bing Crosby was awesome and Rosemary Clooney was a hottie.
13. When do you start shopping?
Ideally, November. Usually, first or second week of December.
14. Have you ever recycled an xmas present?
Not that I recall.
15. Favourite thing to eat at xmas?
Everything!
16. Lights on the tree?
Xmas tree decoration is my lovely wife's territory.
17. Favourite xmas song?
Christmas at Ground Zero by Wierd Al Yankovic.
18. Travel at xmas or stay home?
Whatever is required.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Didn't Santa already do that job?
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
See above, re: things in which I defer to my lovely wife.
21. Open the presents xmas eve or morning?
Xmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Shopping. Too many people being silly.
23. Favourite ornament theme or colour?
Star Wars!
24. Favourite for xmas dinner?
Turkey, of course.
25. What do you want for xmas this year?
I don't have any one thing in mind.
