I had to work on Saturday. The call went out, and I stepped up. I also spared a co-worker from having to abandon his swanky box seats for the hockey game, so now he owes me lunch.
Given that I'll most likely get a day off in lieu out of it, it's not super arduous or anything, but, y'know.

We went to the Superstore today. There I encountered two former co-workers, one a sales guy and the other none other than Don Mammone himself.
I would describe my Superstore shopping experience as "Mostly Super".
Garbage Can
We bought a new garbage can today. The old one was getting nasty. The new one is shiny and silver and taller than the old one, but it doesn't match very well with the garbage bags that we've been using. There are logistical issues.
This is plainly not interesting at all, but I would not be surprised if people a) read it and b) comment about their own garbage can experiences. That's just how teh intartubes work, I suppose.
