What the Hell ...

Friday we got 15cm of snow here in lovely Ottawa. They haven't published the numbers for Saturday but estimates were in the 50 cm range. For our metrically challenged friends that's over two feet in two days ... and we've already had in excess of 12 feet of snow this year, before that. More coming overnight, too.



The view out front. To give some sense of scale, the bottom branches of my tree are eight feet off the ground.

The view out back. My neighbour's shed (full sized, of course) and to the left of it, that's his kids' swingset, barely visible above the snow. The fence dividing our yards is taller than I am.

I'll be taking more pictures tomorrow with my lovely wife for scale.
