Athanc for sale, two bits

Some exciting stuff happened on Friday, but I can't really talk about that just yet.

My lovely wife bought me a Transformer. One of the ones from the movie, the Decepticon tank. She rocks.

I also bought myself a copy of the Hordes rulebook. I'm planning on seeing who I can talk into joining me in playing this particular game. I've been jonesing for some tabletop gaming. Hordes should be a good candidate as it's an interesting game, looks like it'll be fun to play, and it's much less expensive than certain other games I could name because you don't need anywhere near as many miniatures to play.

For my lovely wife's birthday, I promised her a trip to a local spa to have her hair and nails done. However, that plan got put on the back-burner, as the Bay discounted the set of pots that she has been longing for (for years). Since it was kinda more expensive than I was expecting, it's going to have to be her next big xmas present as well as this year's birthday present, but she's fine with that. They're a beautiful set of pots, too.

Another good purchase which has been added to the household is my lovely wife's new computer. It's quite a bit better than my one, but then the only requirement for my windows box (originally) was the ability to play Civ 4 decently. I've just set this new machine up downstairs. All we need now is to get her a wireless network card so she can get online and we're in good shape.

It's a sexy, sexy machine.

Ok, that's it for me. Today we're off to Peanut's first birthday party and then over to the Greek and Ladybug's place for UFC fighting and Greek beer. On the note of that bizarre juxtaposition: peace out, yo.
