Romney takes Florida and Iowa. All the other undecideds break for Obama. Obama wins 297 to 241. The GOP blames, not in this order: hurricane Sandy, Candy Crowley's debate moderation, Mormon bizarreness, reverse racism, and most inexplicably but most profoundly, the idea that somehow Romney didn't go hard enough to the right.
By 2016 the US demographic changes which are already underway will have completely pulled the rug out from under the Republican rich-old-white-guy stronghold and their racist bullshit lets Hillary beat the living tar out of whoever the Tea Party send up after drawing entirely the wrong lessons from 2012.
The lunatic fringe of the Republican party is finally, finally alienated from power and we end up with an entirely more moderate and sensible Republican president in 2020 along with a novelty joke-candidate Tea Party crazy person who gets less than one percent of the vote after losing a lawsuit to secure the right to the 'Republican' brand name.
No Zombie Apocalypse this coming term.
