This past weekend my mom and sister came up to visit. We met them, and my brother and unLeftyLawGirl and my aunt, and wandered around the market downtown, shopping and such. We then retired to the Works for dinner, which was the first time both of them had gone. It was generally well received, as it generally is. Good times were had by all.

When I order cards on the innerwebs, they always arrive on a Thursday. Except, apparently, when they come from Australia, in which case they arrive on a Tuesday.

I got the envelope and said to myself, Are these my cards from Australia? And I turned it over and, hey, stamps with kangaroos on them. A-yup.

I didn't watch the Oscars.

I did watch the hockey game. Woohoo! Take that, Johnny Foreigner!

I was a more avid viewer of the curling matches, honestly. They were a lot of fun. Curling rocks.

I'm really enjoying the weather. Moreover, I'm really really enjoying that my car has a sunroof. My sister came all the way up here from MD to take advantage of the nice weather. Global warming, baby, I'm all over it.
