Is there any way I can get this off my fingers quickly without betraying my cool exterior?

Back in December, amazon.ca had a sale. The X-Files, the complete shindig, on for a hundred bucks, which is quite a bit less than it normally goes for, as you can imagine. Nine seasons plus the movies and special features, and this is back when seasons were adult-sized.

I'd periodically get emails from amazon saying, Hey, we still haven't found that thing we sold you, but you can cancel anytime you like. For that deal, I thought to myself, I'll just wait, thanks.

I finally got the shipping notice last week. It arrived this week. It's awesome.

It's huge, and weighs a ton. The disks are having problems on my laptop so I thought they were bad, but they seem to work just fine in an actual DVD player. The image doesn't look so hot on a 55" screen, though; at least so far, I assume it'll get better. Not surprising considering how old the show is, and how low-budget when it first came out. This was back before it became the monster hit that made Fox.

Right now I'm watching "Squeeze", the episode that introduced Eugene Victor Tooms and scared the living bejeezus out of me and my sister way back when.

Still creepy as hell.

Also, Scully is a hottie.
