I'm Lost, I'm Angry, And, Um, I'm Armed

Danger, Will Robinson

There should be an alarm that goes off when it's been a week since you blogged. Time flies when you're not paying attention.

Important Information

Did you read the news on the Greek's blog? Awesome! Congrats, guys.

Miscellaneous Notes

I have superglue on my fingers.

In our last vampire game we discussed ways that I can be given a handicap. It's flattering. I also tend to think it's necessary.

I like cars. I like driving cars. I like not having to take the bus because I can drive and I have a car.

I also like beer, but my relationship with beer has more history.

My lovely wife made chili. Mmmmmm, chili. And biscuits!

Geeky Stuff

For a while I've thought about starting a second Warhammer army. I've generally declined to do so for a few reasons. It's expensive; I have a whole army I mostly haven't painted yet; I don't get to play that often; I couldn't settle on one army that I liked and that would be challenging and unique when I was done.

Chaos Dwarfs. I have a pile of stuff I can use, and I can bulk out the rest with plastic kits; I'm never going to paint all my minis anyway; having two armies means I can play more often because I can invite people who don't have armies to use one of mine; and the Dwarfs are cool, interesting, and unique.

Unique in particular. The Chaos Dwarfs have been out of circulation for a long time and there's no way I'm going to get an entire army of them on ebay. Fortunately, I am wonderful and delicious, so I can convert, sculpt and scratchbuild like a crazy person. Which is fortunate as, by my count, out of 100+ minis in the army I'm going to have exactly 10 that are good out of the box.

I got started tonight. It's going to be a lot of work but man, it's gonna be legendary.

Blognesia

Ever notice how, when you haven't blogged for a while, you think to yourself, there has to be more than this that I should be blogging about? Like, things have been piling up, unblogged. I gotta start writing this shit down.

And then you think, isn't that the basic idea of a blog?

No? Just me? Just me then.

(Blognesia is a bad word. It's worse than Revertigo.)
