So That's That, Then

Today was my goodbye lunch. There was a really good turnout, 20-24 people. Lots of good people that I've greatly enjoyed working alongside.

Rdoney and Don Mammone got me a copy of The Hulk, the bastards. I was also given cards (one from everyone, one from the Standard Support crew) and a very generous Future Shop gift card which I will put to good use.

I packed up my cube in no time flat this morning and then stopped in this afternoon to say my last goodbyes and pick up my stuff. I'm all cleared out, my pass card handed in, bus tickets in my pocket.

Working at Job A has been an experience, that's for sure. I've learned an incredible amount and worked with some fantastic people. Judging from how my exit interview went, I think the door is open if I want to go back at some point in the future, which is good to know.

There have been some frustrations, over the years, but I'm going to miss that place.
