A Few Quick Things

Before Canada Day.

RJA is all moved in. Considering 2 other people were moving that day, the weather sucked, and the service elevator was broken, it was a relatively easy move. I can say that in part because I wasn't one of the guys moving the couch that wouldn't fit in the elevator down 13 flights of stairs.

My eyes are awesome. My night vision has to be at least 400% better than it used to be. Tonight I drove home at night in the rain after dropping off Serdic, and it was so much easier than it would have been a month ago. Pure win.

Speaking of driving, The Mothership and I did a lot of driving last weekend to drop my lovely wife off at her parent's boat. She's back in K-Town tonight and I'll have her back tomorrow. My rocket ship car can go a ridiculous distance on one tank of gas. This was the first time the 'km to empty' rolled over to 1,000+. It actually only displays 999, it turns out; on Saturday it stayed at 999 km to empty for 62 km.

Futurama is back, and it is awesome.

Tropic Thunder is god damn hilarious. "I'm a LEAD farmer, M*****F*****!!!" is possibly one of the all time great lines. The commentary track looks to be very entertaining and I am looking forward to it.

I also listened to the Star Trek commentary, watched the deleted scenes, listened to the deleted scenes commentaries, and then started into the featurettes. Some really good stuff there.
