Birthday Wishes
Happy birthday to the Old Man, to my lovely wife, and to the industrious Greek. All of whom have a birthday within a day of each other. Which is convenient, to be sure.
My grandmother is a big fan of astrology, and I don't give it any more credence than it deserves, but one must note that Cancers are supposed to be really good matches for Capricorns, and all of those folk are Cancers. Hmm.
Camping
Camping last weekend. It rained some, but there was enough sunshine out that we were able to do all the stuff that you want to do, and set up and break down mostly in the dry. Plus, when you're camping with just you, being stuck in a tent isn't a big deal, as it sometimes is when you're camping with friends.
Birthdays Cont'd
My lovely wife's sister, CalgaryMom, sent her a birthday card which was decorated by HappyToddler (who was once HappyBaby, but god damn time flies). It's super cute.
Literature
Serdic leant me World War Z. To give you an idea of my opinion of it, I'm now listening to the audiobook (full cast!) and I just bought a copy of both of Max Brooks' books.
World War Z is located in Fiction, Literature. I approve.
The Zombie Survival Guide is located in Humour, General. I am not impressed. I think Chapters-Indigo is not taking the imminent Zombie Apocalypse with an appropriate degree of seriousness.
Links
I went and followed a link to see this. Then I googled up this. Then I started downloading That Mitchell and Web Look, which is their show, which is awesome.
Recommendations
Cabotto's is awesome. Fantastic food and not that pricy. I recommend their Italian Coffee (amaretto, sambucca and brandy) and their Creme Brulee (with amaretto!). Mmmmm!
Edit - Almost Forgot
The Banana Dance.
